Between gift-shopping, meal-prepping, and tree-decorating, it can be easy to let things slip for an essential part of holiday--the guests! While we love blowing ours away with gorgeous decor and unique trinkets, the most important part of hosting is making your guest feel at ease and (of course) at home! To help, we’re focusing on cozy, comforting touches you can add to your guest spaces to echo the thoughtfulness of the season.
In the Bedroom
- New Bedding and Pillows
If you haven’t hosted in a while, be sure to refresh the sheets, bedding, and pillows in your guest room to remove dust and allergens and ensure a pleasant sleeping experience.
- Extra Blankets and Throws
In a room we never sleep in ourselves, it’s hard to know how cold it might get! Providing extra layers will save your guests from potentially being uncomfortable or having to work up the courage to tell you they’re cold.
- An Engaging Scent
To create a warm, inviting atmosphere that evokes the holiday spirit.
In the Bathroom
- Fresh Towels
Make sure you have enough wash cloths, hand towels, & bath towels per person.
- A Statement Bath Rug
We’ve always said the great bane of the hotel bathroom is the lack of a good rug--don’t make the same mistake! Not only does it pull the space together but, more importantly, will help your guest avoid any slips or trips.
- Hand & Body Soaps
In a subtle scent to cleanse and soften the skin without irritating.
